Mininor’s nail clipper and file are designed to safely cut the baby’s nails and prevent the baby from getting scratch marks in its face.

An infant’s nails are soft so cutting them may not be needed, but as they grow their nails will harden and will soon require cutting like an adult’s.

After cutting the nails, the nails may have sharp edges. The baby is discovering the world (including its own face) with its hands and doesn’t have full control of its motor skills. Therefore, a nail file is included to make the nails smooth and rounded.

Tip: Cutting the nails after giving the baby a bath may be easier as the nails are softer then. Alternatively, cutting the baby’s nails while it is sleeping is often much easier.
